TASK: Design a brand identity for a new music bar.
Eclipse was pitched as a bar focused on high end cocktails paired with an extensive music collection. The main logo was created to emphasize the bar’s celestial aesthetic and its commitment to physical music media (i.e. vinyl). The logo combines a central ‘E’ referencing the bar’s name, surrounded by sun rays, again referencing celestial themes. The inner circle represents both a covered moon (referencing ‘eclipse’), and a vinyl turntable, with the ‘E’ standing as the needle. The handcrafted font remains consistent with the logo’s design style, creating a recognizable brand identity for the bar.
