Museum of Type is a hypothetical museum founded in New York City that displays the history of all written language. From ancient Sumerian text, to the impact of Helvetica and Times New Roman, the MoT champions the wholistic story of typography through human society.
The visual identity of the Mot follows similar guidelines to those of the MoMa or other New York City museums. With eye-catching designs with a strong focus on innovative typography and hierarchy, the MoT stands out against other museums of the city. The simple red and blue color pallet leaves more attention for the focus of the museum and it’s advertisements : the typography.
